Cutting Tool - Handmade APEX I.N.C.H  - Value £90

Apex Knives next new knife launch starts in the FOX BOX - The APEX I.N.C.H (I’m Never Coming Home). The inch blade comes with 2 tip options for you to choose from SAEX and Classic both have there uses but it is what works best for you. Handmade with 4mm carbon steel, scandi grind, blued finish with a sharpened spine and hardwood Oak scales with a wide flared handle. The oak scales are fitted with thick brass pins and a brass lanyard loop. The handle is finished with a leather lanyard and hand made Oak bead. The blade is an overall size of 10 inches.

 

You choose SAEX or CLASSIC tip finish.

 

I have design this blade to be a workhorse wood chopping and processing tool and a 1 tool for all for those with a higher level skill set.

 

Optional handle upgrade Moon Glow handle - thick moon glow blue luminous scales are added between the blade and the oak handle scale. The luminous scales are KIRINITE: Blue Glow and a ¼ inch thick - Extra costs £39

Handmade Deluxe Stacked Knife Sheath - Value £55

Handmade FOX Workshop premium stacked leather sheath with belt loop. This sheath is design as a “GRAB PREP” an item you can turn into a item to grab in a emergency with any many of the 5 C’s covered within it as possible. The sides of the sheath are notched in slightly to allow you to wrap some cord around it and the lower end has 2 holes for adding a lanyard. The rear of the sheath has a reversed belt loop on the back for adding knife and sheath to a strap like the Frontier carry system by the FOX workshop also included in this box. The inner working of the sheath are 3 layers of hide with a contoured inner to make you blade fit perfectly and sam brown pin with a leather strap to secure your knife in place.

 

Handmade Shock Cord Sheath Gear Grip - Value £20

This is a great way to add extra gear to you sheath buy adding a heavy duty shock cord system with 4 shock cords running around the sides and 2 shock cords running up from the bottom mounted through 2 thick hide panels. This simple but effective design allow you to add gear front and back of the sheath with ease (yes it will hold a tin).

 

They are designed to sit within the notches of your deluxe sheath at the sides and bottom.

 

Combustion - Handmade FOX Friction Free Bow Drill Bearing Block - Value £29

This is a skill set we all need how to make fire with friction - and a classic bow drill technique is made a little easier with my design of bow drill bearing block. These blocks are made with 5 layers of leather made in a way that bearing never touches the inner working reducing the friction and transferring you energy to the end you need it at the drill end. They also come with a neck pouch to keep it safe included and the neck cord acts as an emergency bow string.

 

Cover  - Full Sized 100% Wool Blanket - Value £30

The ever traditional 100% woollen blanket made popular by cowboys and bushcrafters alike from throughout  time and across the planet. Gaining the skills to make your shelter and sleep off the ground you can rest well at night by the fire with this wool blanket. Wool is a great fibre and will keep you warm even if it gets wet. I always take a wool blanket even if i have a sleeping bag to use when i am around camp and sleeping on it is a great prep for any gear set up.

 

Emergency Cover - Compact Foil Blanket - Value £3

Classic survival compact foil blanket this can fit on the rear of the sheath and gear grip set up as part of your grab prep build!

 

Container - 1 Litre Stainless Steel Personalised FOX Bottle - Value £20

1 litre stainless steel water bottle with hanging handle and stainless steel screw cap with wooden detailed top. Each box customer will have their  name into the top of the lid with the fox insignia. The bottle is designed with a larger than usual neck to allow the bottle to be used for water purifying and if needed as a cook pot for those legendary squirrel stews! (Stew recipe included).

 

Cordage - 50 Feet 550 Paracord - Value £4

50 feet of 550 paracord with 7 inner strands that will help you construction secure shelters. The inner strands can be removed for use as cordage and emergency fishing lines.

550 black paracord with survival buckle that includes a compass, fero rod, scraper and whistle.

 

Carry  - Handmade FOX Workshop Frontier Strap - Value £55

This is the final item in the box this 3mm leather strap system with solid hand cast brass drings, buckle and Chicago pins. By rolling up your gear in your blanket the straps convert your gear into an easy carry system that acts like a satchel.

2 payments - initial payment £120 final payment £125

 

Build time and payments - first payment is made the knives and handmade items are made and the content is gathered.

 

Once the boxes are packed and ready to mail the second payment is taken and your box is sent via next day courier as the box is so large and the blanket is a heavy item for mailing.

If you take you skill set serious and take the time to master the skill set this box includes gear for over time you be able to have confidence to try an over-nighter with just the contents of this box .

 

If you do choose to try a night in the wild with just this gear, always include a first aid kit any meds u need and a working mobile phone for emergencies - primitive skills are good but injuries are not - so ensure you always have your ghost kit for emergencies. (Ghost kit is kit you don't use unless the worst happens when training your primitive skill set)
