The Hudson Bay Tin is a traditional design that was used by traveling traders for their pipe tobacco. They would travels for days, weeks or months at a time and would stop to rest and have a smoke. rather than having to start a fire just to light there pipe or use their match supply the glass lense was used along side the sun to light their pipes. This Tin has since been picked up by bushcrafters and a great pocket fire kit tin with a classic historical design it fits right in with the handmade bushcraft scene,
